During the winter months this area turns in to a "manatee highway" with manatees swimming through, migrating to warmer waters. The shallow sand bar areas are filled with luscious sea grasses for the manatees and sea turtles to feed on.

This location is for those with a big sense of adventure, and who feel comfortable on the water around boats. Weekends and holidays can be very busy with boats traveling at a high rate of speed (think boat wakes).
