The total walking time between these areas is about 1 hour, offering an immersive experience of the bustling streets, local markets, and cultural landmarks. Each stop lasts approximately 30 minutes, giving you ample time to savor the authentic dishes and learn about the stories behind them.
- Basantapur Durbar Square, in the heart of Kathmandu, is a historical marvel and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once home to Nepal’s royalty, it’s famous for intricate Newar architecture, the ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace, and the Kumari Ghar, where the living goddess resides. With vibrant markets and timeless temples, Basantapur offers an unforgettable glimpse into Nepal’s rich cultural past. We have around four stop for the tour so we will be walking around in the area of the Asan, Thamal and Basantapur in this whole time. (pass by)
