- Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): You’ll begin your day climbing the steps to this ancient hilltop stupa, where the eyes of Buddha gaze out over the Kathmandu Valley. Surrounded by prayer flags and curious monkeys, this sacred site offers a peaceful atmosphere and spectacular panoramic views. - Pashupatinath Temple: Next, you’ll visit the most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal. Located along the banks of the Bagmati River, this sprawling temple complex honors Lord Shiva and gives you a glimpse into Nepal’s living spiritual traditions.
