Sarapiqui RiverThe tour starts at 8:30 AM or 11:30 AM at our base in La Virgen de Sarapiquí. After gearing up, we take a short drive to the calm section of the Sarapiquí River. You'll begin with a safety briefing and basic paddling practice, then enjoy a fun and scenic 12 km descent on Class I–II rapids — perfect for beginners. Your guide will lead the way, help you improve your technique, and point out wildlife and jungle plants. After about 2 hours on the water, we return to the base where you’ll get a towel, change, and enjoy a fresh tropical snack.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
