Holbox IslandWe begin the day with a hotel pickup and head toward the kayak area at Punta Mosquitos. Upon arrival, we will get ready with all the necessary equipment and provide a brief introduction before starting the tour. You will then receive your double kayak and begin paddling through these stunning mangroves, home to a wide variety of coastal bird species. Along the way, you may spot crocodiles basking along the banks of the channels, and, depending on the season, you might also catch a glimpse of flamingos. In the mangroves, the water is calm and relaxing and you can hear the songs from the birds. Your professional guide will provide you with information about the flora and fauna you see to enhance your experience. The mangrove tour follows the same route in and out, entering and returning through the main channel. Once we exit the mangrove canal, there will be time to stretch your legs, relax, and have some water before beginning the return to the starting point.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
