Kilimanjaro Climb - 6 Days Marangu Route
Overview
The Marangu Route, often referred to as the Coca Cola route, offers a popular option for climbers due to its shorter duration and permanent sleep huts at campsites. This ascent includes a steep summit night from Kibo Hut, passing through Gilman’s Point to Uhuru Peak.
- 🏔️ The route has a steeper incline and provides less time for acclimatization, leading to a lower summit success rate.
- 🚶 This is the only path where both ascent and descent follow the same route, resulting in increased traffic.
- 🛌 Marangu is ideal for those with limited time for Kilimanjaro climbing adventures.
- ✈️ Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a transfer will be provided for overnight accommodation at your hotel.
- 🧗 Your head guide will conduct a briefing about Mount Kilimanjaro and the Marangu route, including gear checks and arrangements for hiring any necessary equipment.
