Join us for a thrilling Kilimanjaro day hike via the Marangu Route, perfect for those who want a taste of Africa’s highest mountain without committing to a full climb.
We’ll start the day by picking you up from your hotel in Moshi and driving to Marangu Gate (1,870m), the official entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park. Here, you’ll register with the park authorities and meet your professional mountain guide.
From there, you'll begin your scenic hike through lush rainforest, with a good chance of spotting monkeys, birds, and unique mountain vegetation. The trail gradually climbs up to Mandara Hut (2,700m), where you’ll rest, explore the area (including a short walk to the Maundi Crater, weather permitting), and enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by nature.
After taking in the fresh mountain air and views, we’ll begin the descent back to the gate and return to Moshi by early evening.
