Kulmhof Death Camp MuseumKulmhof (Chelmno nad Nerem) is located about 2,5 hours drive from Warsaw. When we get there, first we will pay a visit to the museum. There is brand new exhibition devoted to the history of German death camp in Kulmhof. We will see a short movie in the Granary, take a look at the remnants of palace (not much left), and also presbytery used by the Sonderkommando as an administration building. Then we will continue to the Rzuchow Forest. This is where gassed people were burned and buried in mass graves. Please keep in mind that the camp was destroyed by Germans in 1945.
