Thanneermukkom Bund is worth mentioning about when we pass this village. This bund or barrage across the lake is for stopping the salt water from entering the rice fields on the banks of the lake. We will have to travel on the road constructed on top of the barrage. Your one side is salt water while the other side is fresh water.
