Its soft slopes and simple composition make it one of the most photographed winter scenery spots in Biei.

During winter, the surrounding snow-covered farmland highlights the tree’s silhouette, creating a calm and minimalist landscape. It is especially popular for photography due to its seasonal appearance resembling a Christmas tree.

[** Included in All Course **] Shirahige Waterfall is located in the Shirogane Onsen area and flows directly from underground springs into the Biei River. Unlike typical waterfalls, the water seeps through rocks, forming thin white streams against blue-tinted water.
