Join your host Leela in her home kitchen to learn to cook a traditional Syrian Christian Kerala meal. As much as possible, Leela uses fresh picked vegetables from her garden, from pungent ginger to snappy green beans in recipes handed down through generations in her family. Leela focuses on traditional Kerala Syrian Christian feast cuisine. Learn to cook these traditional Syrian Sadhya dishes, a feast typically served only at banquets. Learn Leela's family recipes and hear about their culinary traditions as you prepare some of her favorite dishes. After cooking, enjoy the food you cook with Leela and her husband at their dining table.
