The Old Packhorse BridgeBuilt in 1717, the Old Packhorse Bridge in Carrbridge is the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands. Set is a picturesque location, this bridge has become a real Instagram sensation, and makes for a perfect short break on our journey to Loch Ness.

Dores BeachDores Beach is one of the best and most famous viewpoints on Loch Ness. It is now also the permanent location of Steve Feltham, whom in 1991 sold his house, left his job and set off on a mission to find the Loch Ness monster in a campervan. Steve filmed his journey to Scotland, and the start of his adventure as a Nessie monster hunter, for the BBC programme entitled ‘’Desperately seeking Nessie’’. You can see Steve's campervan and buy one of his Nessie sculptures as a unique souvenir of your unforgettable adventure.

Culloden BattlefieldCulloden was the battlefield where the 1745 Jacobite Rising came to a tragic end and. It marked the end of the Jacobite hopes, with Bonnie Prince Charlie fleeing to Europe, from which he never returned. Culloden has become a popular site for fans of the Outlander TV series, and you can walk over to take a picture by the marker of the Fraser clan. Please note that we will not have time to do the audiovisual experience as part of this itinerary. If you want to do this, message us so we can customise your experience.

Clava CairnsThe Clava Cairns and surrounding stone circles are neolithic tombs and monuments dating back more than 4,000 to 5,000 years. These tombs remained in use for millennia, providing us with a unique insight into the pre-historic period. In recent years, the Clava Cairns have become a pilgrimage site for Outlander fans, as they were the inspiration for the Craigh Na Dun stone circle in this hit TV series.

BankfootFeed our Highland cows! We will stop over at Bankfoot on our return back to Edinburgh from our adventure, where you will have the opportunity to meet and feed the famous Scottish Highland Coos.
