Berwick Street in Soho was the background star of (What's the Story) Morning Glory, Oasis's second album, released in 1995. The album cover is one of the most recognised from the 1990s, and the album is often seen as the definition of 90's Indie and Britpop culture.
  • Wardour Street
We will visit the spot where the Marquee club was located. The Marquee helped launch the careers of so many great acts, including The Stones, Queen, Jimi Hendrix and Rod Stewart and many others. It became the most important venue for the emerging British scene and witnessed the birth and rise of some of the most important artists in the ’60s ,70s and 80s.

  • We will finish our tour with a drink at The Ship pub. From the outside of this unassuming pub you wouldn't guess that it has a lot of musical history. The pub was a favourite haunt of The Clash, The Police, The Cure, Joy Division, Sex Pistols (from the British Punk/New Wave Scene) and others like Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Beatles and many more. Musicians that played at the Marquis a few doors away, often popped in here before or after a gig or both for a cheeky beer. I will leave you there to enjoy your drink and soak up the ambiance.
