The pub was a favourite haunt of The Clash, The Police, The Cure, Joy Division, Sex Pistols (from the British Punk/New Wave Scene) and others like Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Beatles and many more. Musicians that played at the Marquis a few doors away, often popped in here before or after a gig or both for a cheeky beer. I will leave you there to enjoy your drink and soak up the ambiance.
