For the first inhabitants of Tenerife, the world ended in the extreme northwest of the island, where an impassable rock wall stood. It was about what is now known as Los Gigantes cliffs, at this point is where our journey begins. Los Gigantes respond to the classification of ancient cliff, product of the modeling of an old massif and is appreciated, for its proportions, as a mega cliff. It measures between 300 and 600 m and is buried in the water no more than 30 m deep. Its walls are not uniform, they also present the traces of erosion, leaving some ravines hanging with difficult access; some virgin beaches and coves are also present along this coastline.
