- Once leaving the Vaiare marina and leaving the coral reef behind us, we enter the Deep Blue, the turquoise shallows give way to a vivid cobalt depth. The shoreline of Temae Beach—white sand fringed with lush palms—appears on our way while cruising towards the Cook Bay. Spinner dolphins may join us, as they are known to leap in sync with boats or glide nearby. We may also experience the unforgettable encounters of migrating humpback whales on our way. From July to November, Moorea’s waters become a critical stop for those incredible whale mothers coming to give birth offshore. (pass by)

Cook’s Bay is renowned for its deep blue waters and the backdrop of Mount Mouaputa, which rises to 830 meters (2,723 feet), which is one of the most photographed sights in the South Pacific. Note: we will be cruising or passing by through Cook's Bay on our way back from Opunohu Bay towards the Vaiare marina, depending on how long the previous activities took. (pass by)
