Laboratory: A place providing an opportunity for experimentation, observation, or practice in a field of study.
This is an ever-changing and high-concept mocktail workshop (aka. laboratory) for those with 0 to 100 levels of experience. Unconventional, not a class; learn through experimentation! You get to take risks in this lab with hundreds of ingredients at your fingertips that you wouldn't normally take at home or in a cocktail class. Tools include smoking guns, test tubes, shaker sets, etc.
It is my goal as your host to work with each of you and fine-tune each event to fit your individual mixology goals. By design, any awkwardness and negative judgment is kicked out the door in order for the madness to ensue!

As you enter the building from Melrose Ave, the stairway to the Greenfire Loft is off to your right, across the hall from Rain Shadow Meats butcher shop. You will see a sign at the base of the stairs. I'll greet you at the top of the stairs and guide you to the lab coats of all different sizes.

This experience has no dress code. As soon as you enter, you'll be handed a lab coat -- perfect as a pre-funk to your night out on the town. Also, feel free to just lounge around [with your drink in hand] in one of the wing-backed faux-leather chairs and enjoy the ambiance of being perched in a high-end market, above many award-winning businesses.
I will begin the lab by introducing you to all the tools and ingredients available. Multiple printed mocktail recipes will offer a starting point, and as you take off on your own concocting direction, I will be present to offer guidance and answer questions. This is not necessarily a mocktail 'class'; more of a laboratory where you get to experiment. Hands-on style workshop!
Intimate workshop: maximum number of attendees for individual tickets = 8.
Private groups = 10 attendees
For 11+ attendees: please contact us to arrange an off-site location.
