San Cristobal de La LagunaSan Cristóbal de La Laguna is the place where first time arrived Spanish conquistadors, decided to settle on Tenerife and build the first town in 1496, which became the first capital on the island. Today is a Unesco monument having the biggest old town in Canary Islands with lots of old buildings from 16-19 centuries. The town houses also the first and most important University in Canary Islands. As well as lots of high quality restaurants to try delicious Canarian specialities.
