Departs Melbourne's at 3.30pm daily (returns 8.30/9pm).
Get out of the city and experience the real Aussie bush on this 5km nature hike with guaranteed wild Kangaroo spotting!
The Mount Lofty loop trail is regarded as one of Australia's best short hiking trails with meandering paths alongside the flowing Yarra River with stunning views across the Yarra Valley. Keep an eye out for wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, parrots and more.
Before our hike, we'll drive one hour from Melbourne to Yarra Farm fresh in the Yarra Valley for fresh fruit and supplies for our picnic (as well as a bathroom stop). From there it is a short drive to start of the hiking trail.
Whilst the walking is slow and gentle there are a few hills so medium fitness level is required. The walk is fully supported by our tour guide who will walk with the group.
We will finish our hike with a picnic of sandwich wraps and fresh fruit and a glass of champagne (or orange juice) whilst watching the sunset!

Approx 1 hour drive from Melbourne we arrive at a local fruit farm to collect our picnic supplies and fresh fruit. Here you will have opportunuity to use the rest rooms before we embark on our hiking adventure.
