This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional Mexican food and culture. During your cooking class with Tanya, you will learn to cook Mexican dishes that are easy to replicate at home. Begin with a fun tequila based cocktail before joining Tanya in her open kitchen to cut and prep ingredients for your meal. During your one-hour cooking lesson, you might learn to make spicy shrimp tacos with mango salsa, shrimp ceviche tostadas with pico de gallo or chicken enchiladas with salsa and guacamole. You will also learn to prepare a Mexican dessert such as con or carlota de limón (Mexican lemon icebox cake) or chocolate avocado mousse. After cooking, help Tanya plate the meal that you will share together at the dining table over conversation and laughter.
