  • Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de Mexico
The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary into Heavens (Spanish: Catedral Metropolitana de la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María a los cielos) is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico. It is situated atop the former Aztec sacred precinct near the Templo Mayor on the northern side of the Plaza de la Constitución (Zócalo) in Downtown Mexico City. The cathedral was built in sections from 1573 to 1813 around the original church that was constructed soon after the Spanish conquest of Tenochtitlan, eventually replacing it entirely. Its design is a mixture of three architectural styles that predominated during the colonial period, Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-classic.
  • Palacio Nacional de Mexico
The National Palace (Spanish: Palacio Nacional) is the seat of the federal executive in Mexico. It is located on Mexico City's main square, the Plaza de la Constitución (El Zócalo). This site has been a palace for the ruling class of Mexico since the Aztec empire, and much of the current palace's building materials are from the original one that belonged to Moctezuma II. Here you will see the impressive Diego Rivera’s murals that surround the central courtyard of the building. Epic of the Mexican people (title of the set of works) extends throughout 276 square meters and covers several centuries of the history of Mexico. Please take into account that National Palace could be closed for any government visit, demonstration, maintenance or security reasons.
  • Teotihuacán has become a standard for Mexicans in the defense and protection of the National Cultural Heritage, its main monument, the Pyramid of the Sun, is an icon of national identity, especially as an important element of the pre-Hispanic past. The archaeological remains of the ancient city of the Classic in Teotihuacan, represent Mexico in the international area, since it was the first site of our country declared a World Heritage treasure, by UNESCO in 1987. The open area to the public visit has an extension of 264 hectares, where the main monumental buildings complex are concentrated, such as La Ciudadela and Templo de la Serpiente Emplumada (the Feathered Serpent Temple) , the Calzada de los Muertos (roadway of the death) and the residential complexes that flank it, the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Palace of Quetzalpapálotl and 4 departmental groups with important examples of mural painting, such as Tetitla, Atetelco, Tepantitla and La Ventilla, as well as two other housing complexes called Yayahuala and Zacuala. Come and meet this beautiful archaeological zone.
  • Basilica Lady of Guadalupe and Teotihuacan
Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe is the most important temple of the Guadalupano Precinct since 1976, since it is the place where the Tilma of Juan Diego is sheltered and displayed, in which the Sacred Image of our Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe is shown. It is located at the foot of Cerro del Tepeyac in Mexico City and belongs to the First Archdiocese of Mexico. The Basilica is the site dedicated to the most visited Virgin Mary in the world. Approximately 27 million parishioners visit this sanctuary each year; of which about 9 million pilgrims come on the date of celebration to the Virgin of Guadalupe (December 12).
