  • Museo Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo
In 1931, commissioned by Diego Rivera, Juan O'Gorman designed one of the first functionalist architectural structures in Latin America. This space would be a studio-house for Diego and another for Frida, whose construction was completed in 1932.
  • Trajineras Xochimilco
The famous Xochimilco canals, the last vestiges of the extensive transportation system created by the Aztecs, are located in the south of Mexico City. Colorful gondolas take visitors strolling alongside the boats of food vendors, artisans, and mariachis.
  • Villa Coyoacán is a town founded around the 7th century AD. C. by indigenous Nahuas Colhuas. It is currently the seat of the government of the Coyoacán mayor's office and one of the most important tourist centers in Mexico City.
  • UNAM Biblioteca central
The construction of the Central Library began in 1950. It was built on a total area of 16 thousand square meters. On April 5, 1956 it opened its doors to the university community.
  • San Angel
Once a rural village far from the city, San Angel is today a charming neighborhood of cobblestone streets and bougainvillea-covered colonial houses. Sidewalk cafes and upscale restaurants line the tree-lined Plaza San Jacinto, and the 17th-century El Carmen Monastery is now a major museum. The area also offers galleries, popular Saturday art markets, and the adjoining homes of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, now a museum.
