- Your adventure begins early with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar, followed by a scenic domestic flight to the Tanzanian mainland. Upon arrival at Mikumi National Park, you'll be greeted by a professional safari guide and begin your full-day game drive through one of Tanzania’s most accessible and wildlife-rich parks. Explore the Mkata Floodplain, where you're likely to spot herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffaloes, often grazing alongside impalas and warthogs. Enjoy a picnic-style lunch inside the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature, before continuing your drive to the famous hippo pools, where you’ll witness these giants cooling off in the water. After your safari, you'll be transferred back to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar, with hotel drop-off in the evening.
