Overview
The Mistico Hanging Bridges Tour in La Fortuna is an exciting way to experience the lush and diverse rainforest ecosystem. This guided tour takes visitors on a scenic walk through the treetops, crossing a series of impressive hanging bridges, ranging in length from 98 to 410ft, high above the forest floor. The tour lasts around 2.5 hours and covers about 2.5km of trails.
Traversing the bridges, you have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of flora and fauna, including colorful birds, sloths, playful monkeys, and rare insects. Knowledgeable and well-equipped guides are there to help spot and explain about animals and the rainforest ecosystem. Mistico is also known for its impressive panoramic views of the Arenal volcano and Lake Arenal.
As an addition option, you can also choose to take a delicious and traditional Costa Rican lunch. Paying a small extra you can add a relaxing visit to the small but nice "Palmera real hot springs" that can be found behind the restaurant.

The best way to get to know the jungle is to go walking on the hanging bridges. Spanning great distances at impressive heights you come eye to eye with the inhabitants of the highest tree level. The walk is 3 kilometers and will also give you great views of the volcano and it´s surroundings.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
