Hakone RopewayThe Hakone Ropeway is a main form of transportation in the Hakone area. The ropeway will pass through Owakudani, offering panoramic views of the volcanic landscape. On clear days, you can catch a magnificent view of Mount Fuji from both Owakudani and the ropeway. As you ride, you'll witness the bottom of the Owakudani valley, along with sulfuric smoke rising from it. The desolate mountainside, enveloped in plumes of smoke, creates a striking scene that reflects the area's former name: Hell Valley. Once you disembark from the cable car, you'll be greeted by the distinctive smell of sulfur and see steam rising into the sky.

The Chureito Pagoda is a five-storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji. To reach the pagoda, visitors must climb nearly 400 steps, but the panoramic view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan.
