We will visit the most famous and popular trekking route among tourists in the city of Almaty. Kok Zhailau is a high mountain pasture located directly above the city of Almaty. Our route begins at your hotel. We then drive through the city center along the beautiful Dostyk Street to the starting point of our mountain hike. From the beginning of our journey we find ourselves in the protected area of Ile Alatau National Park. You will be impressed by the mountainous landscape of Almaty. When we're on the move, we get the purest water from a mountain spring. The first third of the mountain hike will be a bit difficult: you have to go up a mountain staircase specially built for tourists. Here you will feel like athletes and champions! The rest of the route will be quite easy, with a slight, gentle climb towards the alpine meadows. After reaching an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level, we find ourselves at the destination of our route. You will definitely be impressed by the beauty of the mountain pastures and here you will understand why this route is so popular among Almaty residents and foreign tourists.
