Nagarkot is situated at an altitude of 2,175m at a distance of 32km from Kathmandu valley and just 20km from Bhaktapur. Among the several day hiking hills in Kathmandu valley, Nagarkot is the most beautiful and famous spot for both foreigners and tourists. Therefore, this is one of the most popular places for enjoying a beautiful sunrise.
From kathmandu, we drive to Nagarkot. Once everyone arrive at Nagarkot, we start our hiking after enjoying with high tea with great Himalayan mountain views. It is about 4 hours walk to Changunarayan Temple passing through the local villages and little hills. It is a beautiful walk descending via Telkot. We can take short break for tea and at the Changunarayan we can have lunch. After lunch, we can do some sightseeing before we drive to Bhaktapur and further to Kathmandu.
