Nestled high above the island’s shoreline, the dense rainforest of Hakalau is home to some of the world’s rarest plants and animals. Join this nature tour and learn more about the incredible history of Hawaii’s endemic flora and fauna, and search for rare birds.
Together with your expert guide, you will enter a restricted National Wildlife Refuge, where you will discover rare native plants and animals in their habitat. You can also search for native and endangered birds including Amakihi, Apapane, Elepaio, Akepa, Akiapolaau, and Iiwi.
