The DiVes winery combines the history of its location with state-of-the-art winemaking. So far, the winery has won more than 77 medals and distinctions in Bulgarian and international contests. Located between the townships of Aheloy and Kableshkovo, the historic hill, called Simeonova Mound is associated with the victory of King Simeon The Great, over the Byzantine troops in 917 AD. This is where the Bulgarian Medieval history meets with the modern history of the Bulgarian wine production. In Di Ves winery the guests will try 4 types of wine with 4 types of Bulgarian finger food: - White wine: Bread and smoked trout; - Rosé: Bread and sun-dried tomatoes; - Special Selection/Grand Reserve red wine: bread and yellow cheese; - Sweet wine: Bulgarian honey cake with chocolate.
