    The vermillion-lacquered Shinkyo Bridge is an icon of Nikko. It sits at the entrance to the Nikko mountains and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Nikko Tosho-gu
    Most of the shrine complex you see today was rebuilt in 17th century. The shrine contains 55 buildings including 8 national treasures and 34 listed buildings.
  • Irohazaka Route
    rohazaka is a pair of winding roads (ascending and descending) connecting Nikko-city and the mountainous Lake Chuzenji area.
  • Lake Chuzenji
    A scenic lake in the mountains above the town of Nikko. It is located at the foot of Mount Nantai, Nikko's sacred volcano.
  • Chuzenji Temple
    Chuzenji Temple stands on the eastern bank of Lake Chuzenjiko, which was named after the temple. Chuzenji's main object of worship is a six meter tall statue of Kannon, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. Having a great view of the lake.
