Overview
Our day begins early in a remote, traditional village of Chania. Far from the city's noise, we enjoy authentic Cretan coffee at a local café and get a glimpse of a slower, genuine way of life.
Then the adventure begins: with our fully equipped 4×4 vehicles, we explore mountain trails, crossing olive groves, lush valleys, and wild gorges. This off-road journey reveals the raw beauty of Crete, with chances to spot wild goats, hawks, or even eagles in their natural habitat.
We stop at scenic viewpoints for photos, short breaks, and enjoy traditional snacks picnic-style inside the vehicle.
As we ascend, the views become even more dramatic — with the majestic White Mountains surrounding us.
We end our day at the Botanical Park of Crete with a 1.5-hour walk through shaded trails, among herbs and trees from all over the world. The walk concludes with freshly brewed mountain herbal tea — and optionally, a local meal at the park’s restaurant (upon request).
