Overview
Get ready to embark on an adventure through the Sonoran desert just outside of Phoenix! On this adventure you will get the exhilarating thrill of conquering challenging terrain in our air conditioned jeeps. We will travel up and down through a canyon full of breathtaking panoramic views. We will have numerous stops along the way so you can get the perfect photos, take in the views, and learn about the desert plants and wildlife. The adventure culminates in watching our beautiful and infamous Arizona sunsets.

Look for the big white Jeep at the back of the Walmart parking lot.

Walmart SupercenterTo start the tour our guide will meet you towards the back of the parking lot in front of Walmart. We will have a large cooler and will provide water, sunscreen and bug spray. You are welcome to go inside to use the restroom, get any additional drinks or snacks to put in the cooler for the trip. We will load up here and head out
- On our drive out to the starting point of the trail you will have great views of the Superstition Mountains. The drive out to the trail will take approximately 30 min. (pass by)

Tonto National ForestUpon arrival at the trail head we will hop out while getting prepared for offroad driving and a quick safety briefing.

Tonto National ForestLet the adventure begin! We will be traveling through Bulldog Canyon in the northern part of the Sonoran desert and Southern part of Tonto National forest. We will have many stops along the way. The stops will provide opportunities for amazing panoramic photos and discussions about desert plant and animal life. Get ready to see huge Saguaro Cactus in their native habitat. There will also be exhilarating hill climbs and obstacles that will give you the offroad adventure experience as well. It is off-roading so expect a mild to moderate bumpy ride.

Tonto National ForestNear the end of the trail we will stop for the sunset. We will spend approximately 30 minutes here for you to take pictures and relax. There will be chairs provided as well. At this spot you will have amazing 360 degree views .

Tonto National ForestAfter the sunset we will head back to our starting point of the trip. We will spend approximately 20 minutes driving through a fun and winding trail in the desert, 10 minutes preparing for on road driving, and 30 minute drive back to the starting point.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
