Night Eco Tour on Miyako Island – Discover Subtropical Wildlife & a Sky Full of Stars!
This unique night tour takes you out into the wilds of Miyako Island in search of fascinating subtropical creatures and a dazzling star-filled sky.
You'll encounter island-specific wildlife and plants rarely seen on the mainland.

With less light pollution than most parts of Japan, Miyako Island offers a natural planetarium-like view of the stars. If conditions are right, you may witness a sky full of twinkling stars stretching across the horizon.
And if you're lucky, you might even spot a giant coconut crab!

Your guide will choose the best location for the evening based on weather and field conditions.
Even though it's a night tour, your guide will lead you safely with care—so you can relax and enjoy the adventure.

If you will be late, please contact us in advance. If we do not hear from you and you miss the meeting time, your reservation may be treated as a cancellation, and a cancellation fee will apply.

Depending on booking status, the tour may be conducted in Japanese only. Thank you for your understanding.

This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum is not met, the tour will be canceled free of charge (you will be notified the day before).

As this is a nature-based observational tour, we cannot guarantee sightings of specific wildlife or star visibility. Weather and environmental conditions may affect the experience. If weather conditions are not ideal, we are happy to discuss rescheduling with you.

Meeting and dismissal times may vary depending on the season and field conditions. We will inform you of the meeting location and time the day before the tour. If you do not receive any communication by the evening, please contact us.

The tour operates in rainy weather, but may be canceled if we determine the field is unsafe.

Please use the restroom before arriving, as facilities may not be available near the tour site.

Participation under the influence of alcohol is not permitted.

Pregnant guests cannot join the tour.
