Maverick Estate WineryMaverick has a rebellious spirit. It shuns today’s highly mechanized, high-production trends. Instead, they stay true to a by-hand, Old World approach to winemaking. They believe that working in tune with nature is the only way to capture the clean, rich, multi-layered flavours of premium fruit. Maverick makes iconoclastic, award-winning wines full of flavour and complexity.
-
Black Hills Estate WineryBlack Hills Estate Winery vineyards are located on the famed Black Sage Road that result in an exceptional terroir. The microclimate is one of hottest, driest and sunniest sites in the Canada. In fact, the vineyards have more sunlight hours than Napa Valley in the key growing months of June through August. The vineyards' west-facing slope and deep desert sands provide daytime heat that fully ripens the grapes followed by cool nights that allow acid retention. The result? Intensely flavourful grapes! Black Hills careful viticulture practices, provide ideal growing conditions for the Bordeaux and Rhone varietals.
