Medina of FezEl centro histórico de Fez y la sede del gobierno marroquí hasta 1912, Fez Medina (Fez el-Bali) sigue siendo el mayor atractivo de la ciudad: un distrito extenso de zocos y callejones llenos de grandes mezquitas, palacios y madrassas. Sirve como puerta de entrada al corazón de las bulliciosas calles de la medina de Fez. Justo al lado se encuentra la puerta original del siglo XII, construida con una entrada indirecta en una inclinación para bloquear la entrada de arietes.
