- Pick up at your accommodation in Bukit Lawang at 8.30 am. You will be hiking for around 5-6 hours. Exploring the jungle, with explanations from your guide about the area, the plants and the animals you will encounter. Plenty of opportunity for taking pictures. If you are lucky you will be able to see Orangutans, Macaques, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys and Hornbills. A lunch stop is included. Option to come back from the jungle by tubing the river. FULL DAY JUNGLE TREK Level of fitness: Medium Price includes - English speaking certified guide, lunch, national park permit. This is your packing list for the trek: – Sun cream – Bottled water – Mosquito repellent – Raincoat / Rain cover for your bag / Waterproof bag – Hiking shoes or sport shoes – Wear long trousers and a t-shirt or long sleeve top – Swimming clothes are optional if you choose to return from the jungle by tubing the river (pass by)
