Above the gateway stands a large four-faced tower, with serene faces looking toward the four directions. Baphuon TempleBaphuon Temple is a magnificent ancient temple located within Angkor Thom, near the Bayon Temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Built in the 11th century during the reign of King Udayadityavarman II, Baphuon was originally dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
