Overview
The Open Water Course at Marine Park of Menjangan and Pemuteran provides an exciting gateway for diving enthusiasts. Over three days, you will gain essential diving skills and earn your SSI International certification.
- 📹 Start with 2 hours and 10 minutes of engaging videos, followed by knowledge reviews using the Open Water manual.
- 🏊 Practical skills are taught in the swimming pool with an instructor during the afternoon of the first day.
- 🌊 On the second day, enjoy two dives at different sites, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), where you will practice skills learned previously.
- 🍽️ After a lunch break back at the dive center, continue your theory lessons with your instructor to deepen your understanding.
- 🎉 The third day includes two final dives at the Marine Park of Menjangan, culminating in your certification upon completion.
- 📝 Upon finishing the course, receive a permanent certification card and online recognition of your diving achievement.
- 🌐 Dive center facilities include WIFI, toilet, shower, locker, and change room for your convenience.

The open water course is organised in 3 main steps :
-Develop your knowledge in a way of understanding the basics of diving.
-Basic exercise training in shallow waters (Beach or swimming pool), at least 5 sessions.
-Dives in deep waters so you can practise your technique, and explore the ocean floors, at least 4 dives.
Learning to dive is an extraordinary experience. You will breath underwater for the first time, an experience that you will never forget. Learn the basics of diving and become a certified diver under the direct supervision of our certified instructors.
*A minimum age of 10 years is required to do this activity.
