Immerse yourself in the best nature, history and culture Osaka has to offer with this e-bike adventure. Cycle along the Hankyu railway line, then through forested hills up to Katsuoji, the temple of winning.
At Katsuoji, see the thousands of daruma dolls, create your own stamped-postcard and learn about Japanese buddhism. The serene mountain setting make it ideal for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. "Goshuin" calligraphy signing is also available.
Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing soak at a hillside onsen, which features both outdoor and indoor baths which overlook the cities of Minoh, Osaka, Ikeda and more.
Not suitable for those with tattoos due to Onsen rules.

A short walk from both Makiochi and Sakurai stations on the Minoh line of Hankyu Railway. Minoh Cycles is located in the building, "Sakura Heim" on the ground floor, and the guide will meet you outside at the start time.

We will make a brief stop at the Shoden observation deck, to take in a view over Osaka before continuing on to Katsuoji Temple

Katsuo-ji TempleYour guide will take you around the temple complex, explaining the meaning of each individual area and shrine. For those that take home a Daruma, the "omikuji" fortunes can be translated on-the-spot, and the correct way to decorate the dolls will be explained. Upon entry you will also receive a postcard, which you can then decorate by stamping it, using the stamps provided around the complex.
