PADI’s Open Water Diver certification course is the first step towards becoming a self-driving diver, allowing you to explore the fascinating underwater world safely and confidently. At Sea Pride, we offer comprehensive training that combines theory, practice and real water experience, all under the supervision of their certified instructors.
You will start with a series of theoretical modules where you will learn the basic principles of diving. This includes topics such as diving physics, dive planning, use of diving equipment, and safety practices.
Once you have mastered the theoretical concepts, you will move on to confined water practices (such as a swimming pool or a quiet lagoon).
These practices prepare you to feel comfortable and safe before you go into open water.
The final phase of the course consists of four open water dives. These dives will allow you to apply everything learned in a real environment, exploring the sea under the direct guidance of your instructor. You will make progressive descents, practice acquired skills and familiarize yourself with marine life.
