The meeting point is in the entrance of the Cathedral of the Plaza de Armas. We started the 1:30hr journey towards the district of Checacupe. There, where we will have an average of 10 to 15 min to be able to know the 3 bridges of the area (Colonial, Republican and Inca). After this stop we will drive around two hours and half to arrive to the community of Palccoyo, the starting point of our tour. The starting point of the walk is located 4100 m.asl, from where we will start a 40-minute walk to the first Mirador located at 4800 m.asl where we can already observe the Palccoyo mountain range for about 30 minutes of free time to take photos and explore the area. Upon return of our walk we will make the visit of the Stone Forest located at 4900 m.asl and then make the descent through the Red Valley and return to the starting point of our hike. We will board our transport to head back to the Cusipata district, where we will have an exquisite lunch. After lunch we will return to Cusco.
