PapeeteCome and experience the local lifestyle with us, while we take you on a food discovery of the Tahiti market place. “Matete” means Market in Tahitian, where locals go to shop for seasonal fruits, vegetables, and fish. We will visit local vendors and taste authentic food, such as seasonal fruits, snacks, fish dishes, pai, mape and other delicious tastings from the three main culinary cultures: Tahitian, Chinese and French. Guests will experience a minimum of 6-8 tastings, depending on the season and/or availability. The price indicated is per person.
