We continue toward the almost abandoned village of Leusë, driving through rural roads surrounded by hills and farmland. We walk along the old stone streets and visit the Church of Leusë, an important 18th-century cultural monument. Your guide will explain the meaning of the frescoes, the history of the village, and the role of Orthodox tradition in local culture.
- Back in the jeeps, we drive deeper into the Vjosa Valley, considered one of the last truly wild river valleys in Europe. We travel off-road through untouched landscapes, stopping at panoramic points while learning about the local flora, fauna, and the environmental importance of the area.
