Travel south to Petra in a modern air-conditioned vehicle with a friendly and knowledgeable English-speaking driver (approx. 3-hour drive). Upon arrival, you’ll begin exploring Petra with a walk through the long and winding Siq, leading to your first breathtaking view of the Treasury, an architectural marvel over 2,000 years old. Continue through the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater, and the Royal Tombs, until you reach Qasr Al Bint at the end of the colonnaded street. Afterwards, you can walk back to the entrance to meet your driver, or spend some free time to relax or explore on your own, before returning to Amman.
