Its beauty is in the world’s rank and it is chosen to be the location for shooting the movie titled “The Beach” because of its beauty. **Annual Maya Bay Closure (Aug 1 – Sep 30): Please note that Maya Bay closes annually for environmental recovery. During this period, we cannot land on the beach, but we will stop nearby for photos and sightseeing from the boat.
