- This is our starting point, in case you did not choose the hotel pick-up option. The largest stadium of the Roman era, of which only a few remains are visible today. (pass by)
- Shortly after the beginning of the Appian Way, we will come across the tomb of the Scipios, perhaps the most ancient and prestigious Roman family. (pass by)
- Driving along the so-called “archaeological walk”, we will encounter on the right the enormous complex of the Baths of Caracalla. (pass by)
- After passing the Baths of Caracalla, the Via Appia Antica begins, the most famous Roman road. (pass by)
- After passing the tomb of the Scipios, we will pass under the Arch of Drusus, an imposing monument from the Roman era. (pass by)

Catacombe di San Callisto( OPTIONAL ) Arrived at the catacombs we will be greeted by a lush and unexpected nature, olive trees, roads with cypresses and green meadows, it will seem to be in Tuscany! Here if you wish you can visit the inside of the Catacombs, the visit lasts about 45 minutes and is managed by Vatican guides, it is a visit for small groups. The cost of the ticket is included in the price if you choose the option to visit the catacombs

- The symbol of the Appian Way, its most important and majestic monument. First a mausoleum, then transformed by the Caetani family into a Castrum. A visit from the outside is planned, anyone who wants can enter independently to visit the mausoleum, upon payment of the ticket (pass by)
- A few meters after the Arch of Drusus, we find one of the most famous access gates of Rome, part of the imposing Aurelian walls, which here we can admire in one of the most beautiful parts. (pass by)
