Betty's HopeStart your tour with at 15 minute ride through the East side of the island to Betty's Hope Sugarmill Plantation. Betty's Hope is one of Antigua’s most historic sugar plantations and a powerful symbol of the island’s colonial past. Established in the 17th century, it was once a major producer of sugar and rum. Today, visitors can explore the restored twin windmill towers, museum exhibits, and scenic grounds while learning about the plantation’s history, the sugar-making process, and the lives of the enslaved Africans who labored there.
