BessastadirOur usual first stop is the Bessastaðakirkja church, which was originally built in the 12th century and is one of the oldest churches in Iceland. This beautiful church is located on a hill overlooking the nearby sea and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
- Next, we'll drive past the Kleifarvatn Lake, which is the largest lake on the Reykjanes Peninsula. The lake is surrounded by mountains and is known for its deep, dark waters, which make it a popular spot for fishing and hiking (pass by)
