Hout BayWe make our way to the home of some of the best seafood in South Africa. Optionally, we will take a boat trip to the famous seal island. A highlight of any Hout Bay tour is a boat trip to Seal Island, just off the coast of Hout Bay. We will take a short boat ride to the island, where we can watch a large colony of Cape fur seals lounging on the rocks. It's an excellent opportunity to witness the local wildlife up close, and the boat ride itself provides wonderful views of the bay and surrounding mountains.

The area is teeming with wildlife, including baboons, antelope, and numerous bird species, making it a perfect place for nature lovers and photographers.

Boulders Beach Penguin ColonyThe main highlight of a visit to Boulders Beach is the chance to get up close to the African penguins, also known as Jackass penguins due to their donkey-like braying call. The beach is home to a large colony of these charming, flightless birds, and we will be able to observe them in their natural habitat. We can walk along boardwalks that lead through the dunes and have an opportunity to get close to the penguins without disturbing them.
