Overview
Join a private charter bus day trip from Fukuoka to Dazaifu and Yufuin to learn more about the Shinto religion and enjoy “osen”. Visit Dazaifu Tanmangu Shrine before enjoying lunch and relaxing at natural hot spring spas in Yufuin.
After being picked up directly from your hotel in Fukuoka, you'll first stop for a free walk at the Dazaifu Tanmangu Shrine, which was built over the grave of Sugawara no Michizane – a famous scholar, poet and politician from the Heian period, after becoming a deity of the Shinto religion.
You'll then reach Yufuin for lunch and there too you'll be given plenty of free time to explore and relax. Indeed, Yofuin is also known as the “spa town” because of its natural hot spring spas (“onsen” in Japanese).
Unless you'll be staying in Yufuin for the night, you'll then be picked up around 5.45pm to go back to Fukuoka, where you'll arrive around 8.00pm to be dropped off directly at your accommodation.
