Zona Arqueologica Teuchitlan o GuachimontonesAfter an hour's drive, the first stop will be the archeological site of Guachimontones and its museum. We'll explore the site for 1 hour as I explain the most interesting facts about the Teuchitlan indigenous civilization that inhabited the Tequila Valley 2,000 years ago. We'll also visit the site museum to unravel the mysteries of this ancient civilization.

Tequila FortalezaAfter a 30 minute drive we will visit La Fortaleza, considered the finest distillery in Mexico and home to the top-ranked tequila. You'll explore the beautifully preserved 19th-century distillery and witness the traditional tequila-making process—steeped in history and authenticity. Of course, no visit would be complete without a guided tasting of their four distinct tequila styles: blanco, still strength, reposado and añejo. At the end of the tour you'll be able to buy artisanal tequila bottles at factory price!
