Additionally, we offer an exclusive tour (just for you and your companions) at both the archeological site and the distillery.
Our journey begins with an early visit to Guachimontones, allowing us to explore the site before the crowds arrive. Next, we’ll tour a distillery where tequila has been crafted since 1942. From there, we’ll continue to the town of Tequila, where colonial architecture and vibrant streets invite exploration. On our way back to the city, we’ll stop among the rolling agave fields for unforgettable photographs!

Delve deeper into their mysteries with a visit to the on-site museum.

AmatitanNext, we’ll visit a hidden gem: a family-owned tequila hacienda and distillery where additive-free tequila has been made using artisanal methods since 1942. On a private one-hour tour, you’ll uncover the secrets of tequila production while learning the key differences between artisanal and industrial types, and the current socio-political and environmental challenges faced by the industry. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of four tequilas, where you’ll learn the proper technique to fully appreciate their complex aromas and flavors. Take home a piece of the magic with factory-priced bottles! (Other distilleries such as La Fortaleza, Cascahuin, El Tequileño, Casa Atanasio, etc. are available upon request, subject to availability, additional fees might apply).

Stroll the village's colorful and lively plazas at your own pace while learning the town’s history in a fun and relaxed way.

TequilaAs we return, we'll stop by the agave fields, a UNESCO Cultural Landscape of the Humanities. Take in the breathtaking scenery and capture stunning photos to commemorate this unique experience. The drive back to Guadalajara will take 1 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
